Hey there! I'm Brooklyn, a 23yo stay-at-home mom in North Carolina, married 4 years (+ counting) to my best friend. All while raising babies, running an incredible bookish community, reading and writing in every tiny crevice of spare time I can find.
I've always been the girl with her nose in a book.
The one staying up far too late for "just one more chapter" and building entire worlds in her head.
When I'm not reading or working on my own novels, you'll usually find me hunting for my next five-star read, building The Bookish Cottage™ and connecting with my fellow readers/writers inside of it, sharing recommendations online, or chasing after my daughters through the forest with a watered down iced coffee in hand.
You'll find reading adventures, writing updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses of my publishing journey, book club fun, community events, and plenty of cozy bookish chaos along the way. I'm not perfect at any of it, but I show up every single day and try.
In short, I'm a girl with too many books, too many ideas, and a habit of dreaming way too big for someone running on watered down ice coffee and who had to recently move in with their MIL.

Behind every dream, every late-night writing session, and every big idea is my family.
My husband is my biggest supporter, sounding board, and partner in every adventure. Together we're raising two curious and wildly energetic little girls who keep life equal parts magical and chaotic.
They are the reason I believe so deeply in building a life filled with creativity, imagination, and meaningful work.
The stories I read, the community I'm building, and the books I hope to publish one day are all rooted in the same goal: creating something my daughters can be proud of and showing them that big dreams are always worth chasing.
They're my favorite people, my greatest inspiration, and the reason behind so much of what I do.
Think of this as my online journal.
A place where I document the books I'm loving, the stories I'm writing, the lessons I'm learning, and my journey toward becoming a published author.
Some days I'll be sharing book recommendations.
Some days I'll be talking about writing struggles, plot twists, and character chaos.
Some days I'll be celebrating milestones inside The Bookish Cottage™ or rambling about a book that completely wrecked me emotionally.
